We Explore, Discover And Establish

Together, We Will Empower Young Minds to Unlock Their Full Potential

Our Mission

At Vaanhu, We believe every young person has unique abilities waiting to be uncovered.

Through engaging workshops and activities, we help participants explore their passions and identify areas where their natural talents shine. Once young people have begun to explore their interests, we guide them through the process of discovery — transforming curiosity into skill.

We’re on a mission to guide young people as they discover their unique talents and build brighter futures. But we can’t do it alone — we need your support to make it possible.

About Us

Vaanhu is a community organisation located in Corby, Northamptonshire. We are committed to candidates of life; those that seek to explore, discover and establish the gift & talent they posses. Vaanhu aims to reduce inequality that exists in the lives of young people from low income households attending low funded schools and nationally low ranking schools

We provide workshops, career counseling, and mentoring to bridge the inequality gap faced by young people from low-income households and underfunded schools. This gap often limits their ability to identify and develop their unique gifts and talents.

Our services are built on three key stages: Explore, Discover, and Establish, allowing young people to join at any level based on their progress. Whether they are just beginning to explore their abilities or ready to professionally establish their talents, we offer the resources and support they need to thrive.

— Secondary school: dreams workshop

During my secondary school years at Slough and Eton, there was a motor company that came and had a workshop called “Dreams” I was chosen to represent my year group. That experience changed my life. I came out of that workshop believing that dreams/Visions are your Provision. We must be aware of our contribution and how it determines a fair share of our output. However, I learnt that there is chemistry between a dream/ Vision and provision. Therefore, Vaanhu is here today because we believe that it takes people to be somebody. We hope to be a helping hand for you, as the “Dreams” workshop was there for me.

— Leadership Lessons from Mr. Aamod

Mr Aamod: during my sixth form the head of sixth form Mr Aamod told me that Shannon what makes Oxford and Cambridge amazing is because they create, support gifted and talented young people to become leaders of tomorrow, unlike the other universities they teach young people to be workers. Always be aware of this difference as you go on in life to university.

— Eye-Opening Insights on Education and Student Potential

First year of University (UK politics) – Leslie asked us to pick a department in the government and to research the conception of the department as out first assignment. I wanted to pick health but Leslie adviced I should choose education, me and my assignment partner Zara eventually agreed to pick education. My life has never been the same since that assignment, I realised that some students needed more support to bring out the gift and talents they have.

Secondly, the budgets of schools have an affect on students finding their potential especially if they were not doing core subjects that are fundamentally supported by the education system i.e universities, higher education. In essence more resources and support needed to be given so students benefit from the whole school experience and not just core subjects.
